Role Overview:
This permanent position is based in Fivemiletown, with a Monday to Friday work schedule. The position offers a highly competitive and negotiable salary, along with opportunities for growth within the company and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
* HSEQ System Management: Take responsibility for improving and maintaining the HSEQ Management System across the Toome and Carryduff sites. Ensure that health, safety, quality, and environmental standards are integrated into the company’s operations.
* Safety Culture: Foster a proactive safety culture through leadership, engagement, and accountability, ensuring that employees, contractors, and customers can work in a safe environment.
* Auditing and Compliance: Perform internal audits to ensure adherence to regulatory standards, environmental permits, and industry best practices.
* Risk Control and Monitoring: Oversee safety practices across all sites and enforce compliance to minimise accidents, injuries, and environmental impact.
* Investigation and Corrective Actions: Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, near-misses, and non-conformance's, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
* Technology and Reporting: Promote the use of EngagePro HSEQ technology and encourage positive reporting across all departments to drive shared responsibility for safety.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in a similar Health & Safety role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* A NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent health & safety qualification is highly desirable.
* A history of driving successful safety improvements and fostering a culture of compliance and safety throughout an organisation.
Desirable Experience:
* Previous experience in a concrete products manufacturing environment is a plus.
