We are currently seeking an excellent and suitably experienced Maintenance Plumber to help maintain our range of temporary accommodations for Cameron Guest House Group and the Place Hotel in the city center of Edinburgh.

The Cameron Guest House Group comprises 21 properties, all situated in and around Edinburgh. It is a growing business with a commercial division, a tourist division, and a temporary house accommodation division. Cameron Guest House Group is a family-run business that collaborates directly with the Council of Edinburgh.
The Place Hotel on York Place in Edinburgh has an amazing reputation and status. It is an award-winning four-star 47-room boutique townhouse hotel, in a prominent location close to the city's theatres, the new St James Quarter, and on the tram line. With a purpose-built Conference & Event space with extensive outdoor terrace and banqueting facilities.

Who we are looking for:
Please note: We are looking for candidates living in the Edinburgh Area, who possess a clean UK driver's licence and are able to drive.
We require candidates to be proficient in the English language, in both verbal and written communication.
We also require candidates to be IT/smartphone literate, in order to fully use our maintenance reporting system, LogIT.
You will be highly motivated, focused on getting it right first time, and able to demonstrate experience in working with people. You will have the ability to work cooperatively with others as part of a team, demonstrating commitment to group objectives. You will have an anti-discriminatory attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels in a variety of situations. You will be committed to providing a culture of safety, fairness, and inclusiveness; commitment to continuous personal and professional development and willingness to learn and accept new ideas. You will work effectively under pressure, meeting timescales and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
You will have high standards of cleanliness and will be tidy and organised. You will have certifiable experience in plumbing and will possess experience in general maintenance as a handyman, being able to deal with other maintenance repairs as appropriate.
What we offer:
This role starts from a hourly pay of £15.75, depending on experience; it may be full or part-time to best suit your needs, starting with a base of 40 hours contracted weekly, with the possibility of overtime (subject to business needs), and the contract is permanent, with a three-month probation period.
