Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist (EP/CRM)

Salary Range: up to £67,550 per annum

Specifically, applicants for this role ideally will be competent and independent in the following:
1. Independent in Cryo ablation, Simple SVT and other non 3D mapping procedures (Flutter and AV Nodal ablation).
2. Experienced in RF ablation and independent user of CARTO for AF, AT and other complex 3D Mapping procedures.
3. Independent in CRM Implant and follow up, including CRT/ICD and HIS/Conduction system pacing.
4. Ideally IBHRE/BHRS accredited for EP and CRM.
About Us
Nuffield Health Barts Hospital is the City of London's only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew's NHS hospital. This is our flagship center for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynecology and urology services.
Our hospital consists of 55 beds, including 7 Specialist intensive care beds, four of the most advanced digital operating theatres, and a full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray.
Job Responsibilities
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and you will be able to provide a senior skill set. The successful candidate will contribute to service provision within invasive and non-invasive cardiac investigations, specifically within the EP lab. An ability to work flexibly across these different areas would be an advantage, however exceptional candidates would be considered if they can demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills.
You will have extensive experience of managing Cardiac Cath Lab patients, across the range of different procedures including diagnostic intervention, Coronary Angiography and PCI, Structural heart interventions including TAVI, PFO ASD closure, Cardiac Device implant including PPM/ICD/CRT and electrophysiology procedures, including both RF and Cryo procedures.
All candidates will be expected to work flexibly across a shift pattern of 8-8pm and be part of an on-call rota to further support our service offering.
Qualifications
* IBHRE/BHRS accreditation for EP and CRM is desirable.
