Job Overview: As a Subsea Engineering Specialist, you’ll design, install, and maintain subsea systems supporting renewable energy projects. You’ll collaborate across teams to ensure safety, efficiency, and sustainability in subsea operations. Key Responsibilities: Design & Analysis: Lead design of subsea systems—cables, connectors, and foundations—to meet industry standards. Project Support: Collaborate with project teams on planning, installation, and commissioning. Technical Oversight: Provide guidance for safe installation and maintenance of subsea equipment. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure subsea operations meet regulatory and environmental standards. Continuous Improvement: Research and implement innovations for enhanced system performance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field). 5 years of subsea engineering experience in renewables or offshore sectors. Knowledge of ROV operations, marine cables, and offshore processes. Familiarity with industry standards (API, ISO, DNV-GL) and engineering software. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Offshore wind, tidal, or wave energy experience. Certifications in subsea operations (e.g., ROV Pilot).
