The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Associate Principal - Inclusion to lead the strategic development of our inclusion policies and practices. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will act as the SENDCo and lead on the provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students, promoting an inclusive learning environment that supports all learners.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of SEND and Inclusion policies in line with statutory requirements.
* Manage and coordinate Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and statutory assessments.
* Provide leadership to the SEND team, including Teaching Assistants and Learning Support staff.
* Oversee the effective use of resources and manage the SEND budget.
* Deliver high-quality teaching and maintain a teaching commitment.
* Collaborate with external agencies, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for students with SEND.

About You
The successful candidate will have:
* Qualified Teacher Status and a National Award for SEND Coordination (or a willingness to obtain it).
* Proven experience in a SENDCo or leadership role within SEND/Inclusion.
* Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
