All Departments Operations Administration All Departments is a required field Advertising Salary Not SpecifiedAbout The Role We are looking to strengthen our Document Controller team with a Document Controller based at our Stepps office on a part time basis (3days - Ideally Tuesday - Thursday) with hybrid working available. You will report directly to the Senior Document Controller and your role will support the end to end governance process and assist with project takeover. You will liaise with site and project based staff, ensuring retrieval of accurate documentations from key stakeholders. Key responsibilities will include:
* Takes lead in for Document Control for designated projects
* Setting up of projects (access electronic filing etc) on Sharepoint etc
* Point of contact for queries regarding Documents on BMS
* Trains / coaches team on BMS and Document control
* Coordinates flow of docs from PreCon-Design-Construction-Handover/Commissioning
* Manages and maintains the project document & drawing register
* Carries out QA checks on documentation prior to uploading
* Uploads documents onto the relevant systems and manage the responses and circulates to the Project Team for action
* Attends monthly Doc control meetings internally and externally.
* Attends project progress meetings
* Runs RAG reports
Proven experience in a document control or closely related role.
* High level of competence in the use of Microsoft Office suite and other IT systems.
+ Highly organised with an attention to detail, ability to plan and prioritise own workload, able to work effectively to deadlines. + Ability to communicate effectively with peers and senior engineers in both verbal and written. + Good interpersonal skills and team worker + Experience in use of Business Collaborator, SharePoint and/or a quick learner/problem solver.,
* Experience in a similar role in a construction or related industry.
* Full UK driving licence and the ability to travel
