We are looking for Physician Associate with a passion for delivering the highest standards of care for patients attending our Hepatology clinic for Cancer surveillance.
You will be working closely with our Consultant and Clinical Nurse Specialist teams to deliver a seamless service.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will complement the work of the Hepatology service by:
* supporting adherence to hepatoma surveillance;
* supporting accurate data collection of the outpatient service;
* empowering patients through health promotion.

Knowledge and Experience
* Experience of working as a fully qualified Physician Associate
* Experience of working in Hepatology
* Excellent knowledge of medical science and is application to clinical scenarios
* Ability to demonstrate sound clinical judgement
* Appropriate proven leadership and management experience
* Proven commitment and experience in teaching
* Experience of undertaking research or audit projects
* Evidence of commitment to research-based or evidence of project work undertaken

Qualifications and Training
* BA/BSc Degree prior to undertaking PA programme
* MSc in Physician Associate Studies from a UK training programme
* Current and valid certification or re-certification by the Physician Associate National Examination
* Membership of the Faculty of Physician Associates and registered on PA Managed Voluntary Register (PAMVR
