As our Governance Officer you’ll ensure our Governance function provides an efficient and effective service to projects and programmes across the CNC. We’re looking for someone who can assist with the team in the development and maintenance of assurance arrangements for programmes and projects, ensuring that there is clear guidance available and compliant with minimum standards for governance and delivery arrangements. You’ll do this by developing and maintaining workplans, undertaking stakeholder interviews, reviewing documents, analysing findings and drafting reports. You’ll also work closely with our Internal Inspectorate team on our annual internal audit activity. You will be the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries, and take control of the shared area and database, ensuring accuracy, relevance and timeliness of information. To be successful in this role you’ll have a good understanding of Risk Management principles, Change Management methodologies, Project Management principles and an understanding of the Treasury’s Five Case model for business cases. You should have experience in meeting administration and minute taking, utilising your excellent listening and communication skills. You’ll be adept at report writing, research and analytical skills and a confident user of MS Office and SharePoint.
