Key Responsibilities: Assess the individual needs of primary-aged students and create tailored learning plans. Plan and deliver engaging and structured sessions, focusing on the primary curriculum. Provide targeted support for children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and Dyslexia. Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and overcome barriers to learning. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to parents, carers, or other professionals as required. Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that promotes confidence and a love of learning. About You: Experienced in working with primary-aged children with SEN. Knowledgeable about the primary curriculum and effective SEN strategies. Skilled in assessing, planning, and delivering personalised learning interventions. Patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping children achieve their potential. Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and families. Requirements: Relevant teaching or tutoring experience (QTS or SEN-specific qualifications are desirable but not essential). A strong understanding of SEN strategies for primary-aged children, particularly those with ASD, ADHD, and Dyslexia. A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one.
