About you
Do you have experience working with children? Want to join a supportive team where you will work with experienced professionals in children’s residential? Then we would love to hear from you.
You will work in the children’s residential home with an age range of 8 – 18 years where you will provide a loving and caring environment to our children. We have a culture which ensures each child is treated with understanding, dignity, kindness and respect. You will be able to form positive relationships with children based on respect and openness, as well as having an awareness of safeguarding from harm and the ability to assess and manage risk.
Responsibilities:
* Provide a loving and caring environment for children aged 8 to 18 years.
* Form positive relationships with children based on respect and openness.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of children through risk assessment and safeguarding practices.
* Work shift patterns, including weekends and sleep-ins, as per the rota.
Minimum Requirements:
* Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
* UK valid Driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use.
* Experience working with children in a residential setting (minimum 2 years).
Salary: £32,759 inclusive of sleeps (effective as of 1st August 2024; temporary salary of £31,486 for those joining prior to this date).
