About the role:
As an Experienced Forklift Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the performance and reliability of our fleet of electric, LPG, and diesel forklifts. You will be working both in our workshop and on the field, directly supporting our valued customers across East Anglia. This position requires a professional individual who possesses a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Perform repairs, servicing, and maintenance on a variety of forklift trucks, including electric, LPG, and diesel models.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
* Provide first-class customer service, ensuring clients receive timely and effective support.
* Maintain accurate records of all work performed and submit reports as required.
* Collaborate with workshop and field teams to ensure seamless operations.
* Uphold Babbis Ltd's commitment to quality and safety standards in all aspects of your work.
About you:
You should have proven experience in servicing and repairing forklift trucks or similar vehicles, along with a current driving licence (candidates must be at least 25 years old due to insurance requirements). Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge related to forklift operations is essential, and you should demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. A problem-solver with the ability to diagnose issues quickly, you will thrive in a team-oriented environment.
