Job Title: Bookkeeper (Medical Industry)

Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week
Contract: 18 months with a high possibility of being permanent

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our dynamic team within the medical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records up to the trial balance stage of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate financial records and statements
2. Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including invoicing, tracking expenses, and reconciling accounts
3. Prepare financial reports and statements up to the trial balance stage
4. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
5. Daily financial operations, including posting of supplier invoices, reconciliation of supplier accounts, and accounts payable management
6. Accounts receivable management
7. Maintain monthly sales records
8. Perform monthly bank/credit-card reconciliations
9. Monthly VAT returns and analysis
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience
2. Proficiency in Sage 50 is highly desirable
3. Strong understanding of bookkeeping practices and principles
4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
