Job Description
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.
This is a hybrid working position, with 3 days required in the Wolverhampton office.
The purpose of the role is to provide first class support to the HRIS Manager, enabling the HRIS, HR & Payroll teams to deliver effective technical solutions to the business via Oracle HCM Cloud.
The HRIS Coordinator will develop their technical expertise and work with relevant key stakeholders to support the scoping, build, test and roll out of system changes in a timely manner.
Main Duties
1. Create and update organisation structures (Business Unit / Sub BU / Department/ Costing etc.)
2. Create and maintain clear documentation for all HRIS admin activities
3. Act as deputy administrator for Oracle account related activities (including environment refresh)
4. Scope new absence plans
5. Scope, build, test and implement new holiday plans
6. Raise and monitor tickets in My Oracle Support
7. Support with training materials for new module roll out / amendments to system / changes as a result of Oracle quarterly patch updates and other Oracle changes/ Eurofins configuration changes
8. Proactively raise any areas of concern relating to the system or user experience
9. Support issue resolution working flexibly as needed to resolve
10. Advise on good system ‘housekeeping’ across centralised and decentralised HR teams and Payroll
11. Support with reporting
12. Actively manage the HRIS inbox and prioritise items for review
13. Support compliance with GDPR requirements relevant to UK
14. Project work as needed to enhance the scope of the system
15. To coordinate the HRIS tasks associated with the annual salary review process
16. Keeping up to date with Oracle developments via Oracle University and Customer Forums, as well as attending relevant webinars
17. To undertake other activities identified from time to time commensurate with the level of the post.
Qualifications
18. A-level standard or equivalent
19. Proven experience of system support, either HRIS-specialist or other role with HR systems experience
20. Project work experience
21. Enjoys troubleshooting system issues
22. Solution driven; able to put forward suggestions to resolve what they are being asked to fix
23. Understanding of HR and Payroll processes
24. Oracle HCM system experience or other cloud based system
25. Experience working with data and understanding system development lifecycle
26. Proactive and seeks to identify solutions
27. A good communicator who can clearly articulate and explain technical ideas to a non-technical audience
28. Keen problem solver with ability to apply analytical and lateral thinking
29. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
30. Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Helpful. Willing to explain
31. Positive attitude.
