Job Title: Middleweight 3D Creative Designer.
Talent Guardian is seeking a talented and innovative Middleweight 3D Creative Designer with a strong background in environment, interior, or retail design for a client based in Lutterworth. The ideal candidate will bring 5-8 years (or more) of experience in retail, interior, exhibition or commercial design, along with a portfolio that showcases original and forward-thinking creative solutions.
A genuine passion for brand storytelling and a deep understanding of consumer behaviour is essential.
As a 3D Creative Designer, you will be responsible for developing design concepts that push creative boundaries. Working closely with the Creative Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping design strategies that drive brand-led transformations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead creative projects, producing innovative and engaging design concepts.
Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to craft strategies that bring impactful design solutions to life.
Continuously refine and elevate creative processes, both individually and within the wider team.
Ensure all client deliverables meet high standards of innovation and quality.
Confidently engage with clients, challenge briefs, and clearly communicate design decisions.
Attend client meetings, take briefs, present concepts, and represent the brand professionally.
Manage the creative process from concept through to completion, ensuring technical excellence and smooth project delivery.
Work collaboratively with account managers, studio members, and technical departments to ensure successful project outcomes.
Proficiency in 3DSMax, VRay, Vectorworks, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
In-depth knowledge of retail design, including manufacturing processes, fabrication techniques, and construction technologies.
Work closely with contractors and manufacturers to ensure designs are executed to the highest standard.
Stay ahead of industry trends, consumer behaviour, and retail strategies, providing valuable insights to both the team and clients.
Effectively manage your time, balancing independent and collaborative work.
Proactively communicate resource needs to the Creative Director and the team to ensure smooth project execution.
Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative environment across departments.
Promote open communication and the sharing of creative ideas within the team.
Maintain high standards of quality, ensuring meticulous attention to detail in every project.
Provide constructive feedback and guidance to junior designers and interns throughout the creative process.
Contribute to the creative evolution of the team by sharing knowledge and encouraging others. Key Requirements:
A portfolio demonstrating your creative process and successful project delivery.
Proven experience in managing projects, including structuring timelines and architecting delivery strategies.
Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to research, analyse, and make informed design decisions.
Experience in customer experience (CX) and brand activation.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and direction clearly.
Ability to mentor and inspire junior designers, fostering growth within the team.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, commercial fit-out, and materials for efficient and realistic design solutions. Salary:
Competitive salary between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
