Job summary Employee Relations Advisor Band 6 (12 months Fixed Term Contract) An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Employee Relations (ER) team, providing a comprehensive, effective and efficient ER Advisory service to Managers and staff across our sites in Sutton, Carshalton and Epsom. You will draw on your substantial people experience to manage an exciting and varied portfolio of employee relations cases, providing advice and support on the full range of ER issues, including early resolution, capability, attendance, disciplinary and grievance. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which you will use to support, coach and influence managers and staff at all levels. You will also have excellent IT skills, the ability to work to tight deadlines and a calm and considered approach to problem-solving and dispute resolution. Your knowledge of current legislation will be up to date, and you will thrive in a fast-paced working environment, where patient care and employee experience are a priority. Proposed Interview date : 17th February 2025 Main duties of the job Proactively advise managers in all aspects of employee relations and effectively manage ER cases such as conduct, grievance, capability and sickness absence in line with the Trust's employment policies, employment law, equality principles and best practice. Work closely with the Employee Relations team, People Business Partners and Directorate Managers to understand service needs and support the implementation of operational and strategic HR processes.
