Holidays Assistant Manager - Hope Valley Summary Are you all about putting people first and giving them the highest standards of service? We’re looking for a Holidays Assistant Manager at Upper Booth farm campsite who can help to make sure that everyone has their best possible holiday. Upper Booth Farm Campsite, is in a rural area, please think about how you’d be able to get here for work, before you apply for this job. There are multiple estates to travel between where transport is required, and transport is not provided. ?There is an expectation that you'll, when required, provide cover for other campsites within the area and expenses for travel to these sites will be covered. Hours: 37.5 per week including weekend and evenings Salary: £23,868 per annum What it's like to work here Alongside Upper Booth, you'll also cover the two bunkhouses within the High Peaks Area. Dalehead bunkhouse sleeps 20 people and is located just a short drive from the campsite. Ilam bunkhouse sleeps 16 people and is located in Ilam Park. What you'll be doing Your focus will be on giving great service to everyone who chooses to stay in a Trust place. You want them all to have a very happy holiday. You’ll be answering their questions, following our standard procedures, and working with the local Trust teams, as well as our booking teams to make sure we’re being consistent and keeping standards high everywhere. Sometimes you’ll be working at a desk, and sometimes out and about visiting Bunkhouses and other sites, some of which may be remote. You’ll keep the team on track with compliance requirements. You’ll supervise and lead team through training, coaching and development. You’ll be hands on with our changeovers and cleans for our bunkhouses and campsites, and efficiently managing stock control. You'll help to recruit new staff, providing clear induction and training. You’ll help to respond to incidents, and do all that’s needed to keep everyone safe. You'll also tackle unplanned tasks as they arise, to help keep standards high and people happy. Who we're looking for We'd love to hear from you if you’re: someone with practical operational experience in a holiday business good at talking to, and getting on with, all kinds of people used to achieving high standards of housekeeping, presentation and maintenance able to supervise and support others in your team confident with Microsoft Office familiar with health and safety procedures and compliance, and writing risk assessments The package The National Trust has the motto ‘For everyone, for ever’ at its heart.
