Job Description:
My client is looking for a Senior Planner and Planning Manager to join their thriving Planning team. This family-run firm offers a welcoming, friendly, and collaborative environment with opportunities for career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Compile and manage planning applications, conditions, and appeal documentation for submission to Local Planning Authorities.
2. Attend Planning Committee Meetings and Public Consultation Meetings.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
4. Monitor and review local planning policies and strategies.
5. Conduct research to inform planning applications.
Requirements:
1. Experience Town Planning degree or similar, chartered or working towards chartership.
2. Confident in taking planning applications through local planning authority process.
3. Experience in the private sector, housebuilding, or public sector.
4. Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
5. Team player and good collaborator.
