Hays are delighted to work with a leading provider of high-end consulting and engineering services for projects worldwide to welcome a Credit Controller to their successful team in Leeds.
Your new role
Your new role will include being responsible for a ledger and collecting the company’s debt to agreed terms by phone or email, achieving individual and team targets, query resolution, reporting, cash allocations and reducing DSO.
You will also process and allocate cash receipts as well as doing general Credit Control admin, i.e. looking after mailboxes and coding remits.
What you’ll need
We are looking to fill the role with someone who has at least 2 years of business to business Credit Control, who has excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels and build relationships internally and externally. You must have good knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Excel and Word, with a strong work ethic and a proactive attitude. Our clients are looking for someone who either has a CICM (Chartered Institute of Credit Management) or is working towards it.
