IT Recruitment Consultant at Realtime Recruitment
My client, a homegrown construction company in NI, is looking to add an IT Support Engineer to their established team.
The IT Support Technician provides technical support and assistance to computer users. Their responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving software, hardware, and network problems encountered by users.
MAIN DUTIES
* Serve as the first point of contact for business users with IT support issues – both hardware and software.
* Document and track support requests and resolutions in our ticketing system.
* Assist in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of laptops and desktop computers.
* Resolve support issues efficiently and effectively, and/or escalate issues to relevant vendors where appropriate, managing them through to a successful conclusion.
* Manage all IT elements of the leavers/movers/joiners’ processes (provision hardware, create accounts, disable accounts, re-purpose hardware, etc.).
* Provide support and guidance to business users on MS Office packages (Excel, Word, etc.).
* Provide training on relevant systems, including the creation of training and reference materials.
* Visit our sites/offices regularly to provide IT support to business users.
