Location: Bradford / Hybrid Working (average of 2-3 office days a week – Bradford)
Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Cloud Infrastructure Manager to join the IT Tech Change team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

This role will be responsible for the build of repeatable and reliable capabilities through a process of trial, feedback, learning and continual evolution with a specific focus on DevSecOps. It will continually strive for ongoing improvements in operational performance including a focus on automation.
Where you fit in:
As our Cloud Infrastructure Manager you will
1. Have accountability fo the delivery of technical capabilities that support the software development lifecycle across the delivery portfolios, including the deployment of these envronments and processes to the people and teams that are responsible for all systems and software life cycle engineering.
2. Own the end to end delivery lifecycle and the enabling technologies through to release and depyloyment including ongoing support.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
3. Extensive experience in managing end to end delivery in large organisations.
4. Strong commercial and supplier management skills.
5. Significant experience of influencing senior stakeholders.
6. Experience of the design and development of IT solutions including effective delivery governance and portfolio management concepts.
7. Extensive experience of working Agile/Scaled Agile and DevSecOps delivery methodologies.
8. Extensive experience of working with digital and cloud technologies, specifically Azure.
9. Extensive experience with 3rd party delivery teams.
10. Educated to degree level and or with appropriate professional qualification.
You will also benefit from having:
11. Understanding of the Utilities environment
12. Relevant cerficiations such as Azure, PMP, GCP, NSE, ITILv4, MCSM, MCA or MCM.
13. Ansible, Bicep, Terrafrm, networking, Jenkins, scripting languages, Azure, storage and databases.
We embrace a flexible working model, where our hybrid setup typically requires an average of 2 days in the office per week. This could be slightly more when collaborative efforts, training or meeting deadlines demand it. For those who prefer to work on-site, our office is open Monday-Friday during working hours.
