Scheme Underwriter Salary Competitive We have an exciting opportunity to join our Group Protection Pricing team as a Scheme Underwriter. You will work within the team to provide an outstanding and high-quality service to customers, whilst adhering to underwriting policies, controls, regulations, and legislation. A bit about the job: Provide Group Protection quotations, analysing risk, providing terms, and setting price, all within designated authority and guidelines You'll manage your own cases and act as Scheme Underwriting point of contact for your own broker. Underwriting decisions should be aligned to our underwriting philosophy and be within personal authority limits Provide support and assistance to customers, brokers, and colleagues. Deliver good customer outcomes through all activities and support our customers to pursue their financial objectives You'll be able to underwrite complex and higher value cases and present rationale and recommendations on your approach to more senior colleagues if needed Skills and experience we're looking for: Group Protection product and scheme underwriting knowledge essential Proven ability of underwriting more complex and higher value cases Analytical approach with a high level of attention to detail.
