Job Summary
Come and join our expanding Interventional Radiology Team in the newly created Radiology Day Case Unit! You will work in a multi-disciplinary team alongside radiologists, radiographers and nurses, to provide high quality care in a busy and demanding environment. Main duties of the job
The role of the interventional radiology clinical support worker is to provide high quality care to all of our patients and their relatives while they are within the radiology department by using a range of skills. These include:
1. Facilitate patient transport to and from the department.
2. Provide therapeutic patient care during interventional procedures.
3. Work closely with the consultant radiologists during certain interventional lists.
4. Stocking up of clinical areas, including stock rotation.
5. Act as a circulating assistant within the radiology day case unit and angiography suite.
