Position Summary:
Strider Technologies is seeking a highly analytical and inquisitive Strategic Intelligence Analyst to support our research, briefing, and advisory work. In this role, you will help clients understand emerging threats, competitive landscapes, and strategic trends, with a focus on nation-state activities, global technology competition, and economic statecraft.
You will conduct in-depth research, identify non-obvious patterns across technological, economic, and political domains, and produce intelligence reports that drive strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for an early-career professional (1-3 years experience) with strong analytical, research, and communication skills who is eager to develop expertise in geopolitical risk, economic security, and intelligence analysis.
Job Responsibilities:
* Conduct research and analysis on geopolitical, technological, and economic trends.
* Produce clear, concise intelligence reports and strategic briefings.
* Identify patterns and risks in technology policy, supply chains, dual-use technologies, defense industrial bases, and strategic resource competition.
* Support client-facing engagements, providing intelligence insights for businesses and institutions.
* Monitor state-sponsored activity in high-tech sectors, economic policy, and national security.
* Develop narrative-driven intelligence products to inform decision-making.
Key Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Strategic Studies, Technology Policy, Comparative Area Studies, Economics, or a related field.
* 1-3 years of experience in research, intelligence analysis, policy advisory, risk assessment, or related fields, with a focus on geopolitical risk, economic security, or technology strategy.
* Exceptional analytical thinking with the ability to spot patterns, anticipate strategic implications, and connect disparate information into coherent intelligence narratives.
* Strong research and writing skills, capable of producing clear, structured intelligence reports and strategic briefings from complex data.
* Rapid learning ability across multiple domains, including AI, semiconductor technologies, economic policy, and supply chain dynamics.
* Systems-thinking approach to understanding state actor objectives, technology acquisition strategies, and economic warfare tactics.
* Effective communication skills with the ability to translate complex insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
* Mandarin or Russian proficiency is a plus but not required.
