Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the Moving and Handling Team at Ashford & St Peters Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. You will based on the St Peter's site but will need to work cross site at Ashford and Woking Hospitals when required. You will work as part of the Trust Harms Free Care Team. This post is ideally suited to an experienced health care professional, Physiotherapist, Nurse or Occupational Therapist with a current professional registration. If you have experience in moving and handling of patients, a passion for teaching and a desire to support the health and wellbeing of staff and patients within our trust we would be delighted to have you on board. Main duties of the job Lead on updating, facilitating and implementing a moving and handling strategy that will eliminate or minimise moving and handling risk activities Interpret and disseminate existing, and new, moving and handling legislation ensuring Trust compliance and best practice.
