To ensure that any telephone messages or enquiries are conveyed and dealt with ina timely and clear manner. To fulfill administration duties as required To support the Childrens ward and outreach clinics as required.2 To ensure that all assigned duties both clinical and non clinical are carried outefficiently and effectively. To use the vaious hospital IT systems in order to assist the nursing and medicalstaff. To act as a chaperone, and assist the medical staff with any investigations orprocedures. At all times to be aware of the limits of their own levels of competence and at notime attempt tasks above and beyond their abilities and to work within the limits setby departmental policies. To be aware of the complaints procedure. To be cost effective in the use of equipment and resources, to ensure equipment isin good working order, stored correctly and ready for immediate use. Maintain accurate, up to date records of all contact with patients and their carers. Comply with the Trusts policies on risk assessment and bring any concerns to theattention of the line manager. To Act in a professional manner at all times, complying with trust policies in relationto Infectoin Control, Confidentiality, Incident Reporting, Health & Safety and UniformPolicy.
