Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Physiotherapist with experience in Paediatrics and who is interested in working in an Integrated Community therapy team. You will join an established team of Physiotherapists working in a holistic service with Children's Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Community Paediatricians.The post provides excellent opportunities to develop your clinical and professional skills within the community setting in the Richmond Borough. The post holder will contribute to the development of the service and supervise both students and assistants working in the team.We provide physiotherapy services to children aged 0-18 years with neuro-developmental, musculo-skeletal and developmental co-ordination disorders in pre-school, mainstream and special education settings. We use a variety of approaches including Bobath, Hydrotherapy, DMI, and CIMT. We are involved in multidisciplinary clinics including joint assessments with therapies and paediatricians, Othotics Clinic at Queen Mary's Hospital and Orthopaedic Clinics at St. George's Hospital. We also run several PT only and interdisciplinary therapeutic groups. We ensure development of junior therapists and the implementation best practice standards, providing leadership, guidance and oversight provided by our team. This includes: Under 5's Neurodevelopmental, Over 5's Neurodevelopmental, Special Schools and Musculoskeletal including early year's issues such as talipes, Erbs palsies and torticollis.
