Legal Counsel (Commercial)

Working Arrangement: Hybrid working 3 days a week in office, 2 from home
Sellick Partnership is currently assisting a Retail organisation based in Yorkshire with a permanent Legal Counsel position.
As the Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for:
1. Undertaking a range of commercial contracts with a focus on B2C contracts, IT Contracts (SAAS), NDAs, standard terms, and manufacturing agreements.
2. Assisting the procurement team with queries and contract terms and termination.
3. Drafting and implementing policies and procedures, ensuring contracts are kept up to date, and streamlining processes where required.
4. Keeping up to date with regulatory requirements for the business.
5. Assisting with consumer claims as and when required.
6. Handling data protection matters.
As the Legal Counsel, you will have:
1. Experience working within the Retail sector or for retail clients in private practice; experience with IT Contracts and consumer law in an in-house setting would be advantageous.
2. The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across the Group with an ambition for growth.
3. An interest in AI or experience working with AI would be advantageous.
