The position will involve, but will not be limited to, the following:
* Supervising engineers undertaking multiple system type installations and commissioning of said systems in accordance with the current standards and Codes of Practice.
* The ability to work within project time constraints, identifying and communicating without delay any potential risks to the project delivery dates.
* Ability to supervise the commission and handover of systems in line with the specification and drawings, including giving client demonstrations.
* NSI gold standard & BAFE experience.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure timesheets and all other relevant paperwork is completed on time.
* Undertake any relevant training as required.
* Compile H&S Risk Assessments and deliver toolbox talks.
* Ensure all relevant H&S requirements are complied with.
* Ensure the health, safety and welfare of yourself and the team in accordance with Company policy.
* Complete relevant e-documentation, paperwork and submit quotation briefs on time.
* Actively support company policy and best practice in the area of fire and security, with an emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information.
* Product knowledge and working experience related to:
* Electronic Fire Systems conventional and addressable systems.
* Galaxy Honeywell devices.
* IP CCTV & Analogues CCTV infrastructure (Samsung, Honeywell, Intellex and Axis).
* Access Control systems and data set wiring (ACT, CEM, Honeywell and Paxton).
* Fibre and data networks & termination.
The Ideal Candidate Should Have:
* A proven background and experience of electronic security & fire systems (minimum of 8 years).
* Previous experience of supervising various project elements and engineers would be a real advantage.
* Good communication skills as the majority of the role will involve being in a customer-facing environment.
* The ability to work alone and effectively organise your time.
* A good understanding of the Standards which relate to our Industry and the systems we install.
* A good understanding of Health and Safety is essential.
* A full clean driving licence and a willingness to travel to locations across the country. ECS/CSCS Card.
* Willingness to go the extra mile.
* A flexible attitude to working hours and willingness to travel.
* Some overnight stays may be required but will be kept to a minimum.
* Self-motivated and a team player, demonstrating professionalism, positivity and proactivity.
