The Microsoft Commercial Team are responsible for our Enterprise & SMC customers as well as the Indirect CSP function. The team provides advice on Microsoft products and the licensing agreement they should sit and they also sometimes will provide commercial guidance for anniversaries and renewals. The team consists of subject matter experts providing the highest level of customer service and they operate across multiple locations within the UK.

Leading the Indirect CSP business alongside the ITSP (IT Service Provider) team
This individual will be responsible for developing the indirect CSP business by possessing strong account management & people management skills, alongside demonstrating the Softcat values. You will be expected to have a good understanding of the Microsoft product stack across the key solution areas as well as have knowledge of the Microsoft partner centre, programs and incentives.
As a Microsoft Indirect Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* Engagement with our reseller community and updating indirect CSP price files
* Collaborating with the ITSP team to develop our resellers, grow indirect CSP business and provide training sessions on regular MSFT queries & joining ITSP monthly meetings
* Managing reseller queries and provide the learnings back to the wider team
* Interpreting the indirect CSP budget & commercials
* Understanding Microsoft's indirect CSP offerings and support their growth within the Microsoft Cloud Partner Program
* Understanding our USP and communicating this to the ITSP team
* Collaborating with Internal stakeholders and attending Microsoft community & partner calls where appropriate
What we need from you
* Previous experience in a Microsoft Sales role account management or business development role would be desirable
* Working towards or have an ambition to complete MS900
* Excellent communication and ability to multi-task and prioritise requirements, whilst maintaining a focus on quality work
* Strong organisational skills with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Willingness to travel to other Softcat offices would be required
* Will be expected to undergo the AZ900 & SC900
