SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER, Infra Supply Chain Automation

Key job responsibilities
You will be part of a new organization within AWS building large scale distributed applications. We will be designing and developing these systems from scratch utilising technologies and frameworks like reactive micro services, serverless computing and distributed NoSQL data stores.
This is a greenfield project to be built on top of native AWS using latest technologies and framework.
The key responsibilities are:
1. To solve complex architecture and business problems to come up with extensible solutions.
2. Write high quality code that are modular, functional and testable.
3. Formally mentoring junior engineers on design, coding and troubleshooting.
4. Communicate, collaborate and work effectively in a global environment.
About the team
This position is part of the SC.os Bangalore Position/power inventory organisation. The team owns and builds software which is responsible for managing Space, Power and Cooling Inventory of AWS Data centers which play a key role in landing server capacity for all our data centers world-wide.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2. 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
3. 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
4. Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
2. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
3. Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
4. Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
