The School of Education is seeking to appoint a principal lecturer with experience of leading in Initial Teacher Education. You should have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS UK) and will have had successful experience of teaching and leading in higher education. You will need an excellent understanding and experience of Secondary Education in the UK. It will be important for you to have a good knowledge of the West Midlands and regional placement opportunities for Initial Teacher Education.

You should demonstrate that you are an excellent communicator and have an exemplary track record within teaching. As a member of the SOE senior leadership team, you will be committed to enhancing the student experience and contributing to the performance and development of the wider School of Education. You will need experience of PSRB requirements in Initial Teacher Education.
