Actuarial Change and Engagement Manager
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and career-driven Actuarial Manager to join our Operations team. This is a great job for a qualified or part-qualified actuary who has experience in supporting change initiatives or has a keen interest in leading teams through change. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to influence senior stakeholders!
A bit about the job:
This role supports our UK Insurance Wealth Retirement (IWR) Actuarial Operations team in two main areas: Change Management and Team Engagement. It’s an exciting time in the Actuarial Operations team, as we are embarking on a 4-year transformational journey as part of our Finance Vision initiative. There are multiple change initiatives on the agenda, both Finance and Market-led, that impact the team and will change the way Finance operates and is organised.
Within the role, you will assist the team in proactively managing their change agenda, whilst also maintaining strong engagement within the team.
Additionally, you will:
* Act as a point of contact with IWR Finance Transformation to help the IWR Actuarial Operations team understand what change is on the horizon.
* Work with Actuarial Operations team leaders and senior managers to understand the impacts of change initiatives on their teams, including operational impacts and resource constraints.
* Lead the change engagement process for the Operations team, ensuring plans are agreed and documented, change demand is quantified, and actions are collected and tracked.
* Lead on improving and embedding processes to allow team leaders to have proactive, forward-looking change agenda conversations.
* Support team leaders to better understand factors affecting team engagement. Coordinate activity around colleague listening surveys, including communication, results analysis, and action planning.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Strong organisation, stakeholder management, and communication (oral and written) skills.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships.
* Experience supporting change projects and a good understanding of change frameworks.
* Experience in Finance and process management.
* University undergraduate diploma (BA or BSc) or higher.
What you’ll get for this role:
* Starting salary between £65,000 and £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
* Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
* Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
* 29 days holiday plus bank holidays, and you can choose to buy or sell up to 5 days.
* Make your money go further - Up to 40% discount on Aviva products and other retailer discounts.
* Up to £1,200 of free Aviva shares per year through our Matching Share Plan and share in the success of Aviva with our Save As You Earn scheme.
* Brilliantly supportive policies including parental and carer’s leave.
* Flexible benefits to suit you, including sustainability options such as cycle to work.
* Make a difference, be part of our Aviva Communities and use your 3 paid volunteering days to help others.
* We take your wellbeing seriously with lots of support and tools.
