We are seeking a visionary leader to join our team and manage the Carnegie Conference Centre and ensure we maximise college resources across our five campuses, with the aim of offering a first-class service and achieving increased utilisation to meet the needs of Fife and beyond.
The Role
Reporting to the Assistant Principal: Enterprise & Partnerships, you will provide vision and leadership of the Carnegie Conference Centre team, providing strategic management of the centre’s activities to enhance connections with businesses and wider stakeholder groups.
As Head of Enterprise Development & Outreach you will work collaboratively across the College to develop strong client relationships and industry links to ensure our portfolio offering is aligned with the priorities of local, regional and national needs.
You will play a key role, focusing on income generation by identifying, developing and exploiting opportunities that maximise the utilisation of the College estate and resources.
As a regional anchor organisation, you will support the College strategic aims and lead on community wealth building opportunities.
Key responsibilities include: lead on the launch of the new Carnegie Conference Centre ensuring scoping of new innovative opportunities; develop new income streams by engaging with businesses and stakeholders to create a compelling portfolio that aligns with market needs; promoting innovation and investment which will contribute to business awareness and income growth; act as a College ambassador to build and nurture strong relationships with key industry leaders, local businesses, and community stakeholders; increase revenue streams, and expand our market reach; oversee financial planning, budget management, and reporting for enterprise activities, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to achieve income targets.
Qualifications and Experience - what we’re looking for:
Educated to degree level or with demonstrable relevant professional experience at SCQF level 9 or above.
Proven successful experience of resource management income generation.
Proven experience of successful working with employers and leading business to business activity.
Strong understanding of funding streams in the business, education and skills sector.
Proven experience of driving innovative quality improvements.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
