The Role:
As a core leader within our Finance team and part of the Deritend leadership, you'll play a vital role in driving our business strategy forward. In this dynamic role, you’ll oversee the daily financial operations, including accounting, payroll, and detailed cost assessments, ensuring the business runs smoothly and efficiently. Your commitment to maintaining strong financial controls will enable insightful management analysis that supports strategic decisions across our organization. Additionally, you'll be responsible for delivering timely, accurate financial reports for our Site, Regional, and Group management, ensuring everything aligns with Corporate Policies, Statutory Requirements, and IFRS standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce timely, accurate Management and Statutory Accounts, ensuring compliance with DAPP and IFRS.
* Maintain financial integrity through robust controls, stock counts, and fixed asset management.
* Lead a team to create dashboards that enhance forecasting accuracy and ensure a "no surprises" approach.
* Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and budgeting processes.
* Provide insights on performance drivers through trend analysis and collaboration with business partners.
* Develop standard costs, prepare management accounts, and conduct business modelling for key projects.
Business Partnering:
* Work closely with the General Manager to deliver performance insights, challenge ideas, and support strategic initiatives.

If you have any of these skills, we would love to hear from you:
* Led site-based finance team at a manufacturing facility
* Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
* Experienced in commercial finance, group consolidations, and multicurrency groups
* 5+ years post-qualification in manufacturing finance
* Skilled in budgeting, financial closure, reporting, data analysis, and forecasting
* Proficient in MS Office (Excel) and Hyperion
* Organized, with strong prioritization skills
* Excellent communicator and team leader across all levels
* Strong problem-solving skills, with a proven track record in diverse conditions
* Experienced in interpreting standard costings and variances
