Business Applications Engineer (Contract)

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Applications Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Bath. This exciting opportunity will allow you to play a crucial role in supporting our Dynamics 365 implementation across our global sites.
Responsibilities:
* Provide central administration for Dynamics 365 (FinOps, CE, HR) systems
* Manage user access and security roles within the D365 environment
* Implement and maintain security and audit requirements
* Assist with system updates and database management
* Oversee configuration management for D365 applications
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with connected systems
* Create comprehensive support documentation for end-users and IT staff
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation of business applications
* Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in service delivery
* Participate in projects related to D365 implementation and optimisation
* Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and associated technologies
Qualifications:
* Proven experience supporting D365 business applications in an enterprise IT environment
* Substantial knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and associated technologies (e.g., Azure, Lifecycle Services)
* Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification
* Ability to produce accurate and concise technical documentation
* Excellent written and verbal English skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in prioritising work across multiple domains (e.g., business as usual, projects, and audits)
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* ITIL and/or COBIT qualification
* Experience with IT control frameworks
* Familiarity with IT Service Management toolsets such as ServiceNow
* Experience with Azure DevOps
* Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in service delivery
