Part-Time Teaching Assistant Supporting a Child with ALN Are you passionate about making a difference in a child's life? We are seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in their education. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one support tailored to the needs of the ALN child, focusing on academic, emotional, and social development. Assist the child in accessing the curriculum and engaging fully in classroom activities. Implement strategies recommended by the teacher, SENCO, and external professionals. Foster a safe and inclusive environment, encouraging independence and confidence. Monitor progress and provide feedback to the class teacher and parents/carers. Support the child during transitions, break times, and any additional interventions. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience working with children with ALN (desirable but not essential). A compassionate and patient approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities for all learners.
