Main Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality emotional and practical support to children and young people (CYP) affected by domestic abuse.
* Ensure a safe, welcoming environment for families in safe houses and support their safety in the community.
* Plan and coordinate play and educational activities, including weekends and holidays.
* Help CYP integrate into new communities, securing school placements and healthcare access.
* Build trusting relationships and work in a child-focused way
Preferred Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in providing holistic support to families, including counselling, advocacy, and resource coordination
* Experience in support planning, risk assessments, etc.
* Utilise a psychologically informed approach, developing strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients
* Commitment to promoting inclusivity and respecting the unique needs and backgrounds of each family
