Job Details
A new exciting opportunity has arisen in the Housing & Safer Communities Service as a Housing Estates Management Supervisor working from our new CCTV hub monitoring and patrolling high rise blocks throughout Fife. There are three positions available.
Key aspects of the Housing Estate Management Supervisor role will include:
* Help to deliver a 24 hour service which addresses estate management in high rise blocks and the local community.
* Leading a team of Housing Estate Management Officers who work in multi-storey blocks and out in the community across Fife.
* Monitor CCTV & alarm systems within the CCTV Control Room and deliver/co-ordinate appropriate responses to incidents/activations.
* Scheduling work, updating rotas, and instructing team members on day-to-day tasks.
* Instruct staff on matters relating to their job completion.
* Managing and supporting team members to perform their roles safely and effectively.
* Providing regular ‘hands-on’ coaching to team members.
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Building Safety policies.
* Mobile technology and support will be provided to assist you in your role.
* Supporting your manager and engaging with other Safer Communities and Housing Lead Officers.
* Carry out Housing Estate Management Officer duties where required.
The Person
Ideally the candidate would be educated to CMI SCQF level 6 Award in First line Management or equivalent. The successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding of customer care and possess excellent communication skills. They should be able to work unsupervised and use their own initiative to solve problems. Candidates should show supervisory and team leading skills, evidence communication, organisational and I.T. skills, and have working knowledge of CCTV equipment. A flexible approach to work, hours, and locations is essential.
