Quality Manager required for a well-established instrumentation manufacturer based in the St Ives, Cambridgeshire area. Due to ongoing success, they are seeking an enthusiastic Quality Manager to take responsibility for the Quality Management System whilst ensuring processes and products are in accordance with quality standards.
Quality Manager Job Overview
1. Managing the quality control teams
2. Coordinating external audits with BSI
3. Participating within senior management meetings and objectives
4. Supporting new product development activities
5. Carrying out internal auditing
6. Taking responsibility for standard operating procedures within the quality department
Quality Manager Job Requirements
1. 5+ years of experience within Quality Management
2. Based in a commutable distance of St Ives, Cambridgeshire
3. Good IT / Microsoft Office knowledge
4. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
5. Good knowledge of quality assurance processes within ISO 9001
Quality Manager Salary & Benefits
Starting salary £40,000 - £45,000
Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position
