About the Role
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase and develop your customer service and administration skills. We are looking for Business Support Officers to work in our busy Parking Services team, supporting the administration of Penalty Charge Notices, Parking Permits and Blue Badge applications.
Parking Services is an area of expertise that aims to ensure the delivery of a high quality and effective service, with a commitment to change and improvement driven by the councils ambitious Transport and Environmental policies and aims.
For example, we are one of only 12 councils in the country currently due to introduce new Moving Traffic restrictions to help make roads safer, reduce congestion and improve air quality.
We will empower and support you through our comprehensive induction and training programme to develop your parking knowledge and other essential skills, such as; customer service and communication, the assessment of case work, decision making and the ability to problem solve and multi task.
You will be part of a supportive and multi skilled team providing you with the opportunity to work alongside colleagues as well as being able to work independently.
About You
This is an important role within the team, so you will need to show us that you have the necessary skills, attitude and confidence outlined in the Role Profile to help bring greater resilience to Parking Services and contribute to our performance.
