Accounts Payable Specialist Full-time / Permanent

Role Overview:
The successful candidate will join a well-known family business based in their headquarters in Ballyclare and will be responsible for a range of duties as outlined in a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week with flexibility required to meet deadlines. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Processing interdepartmental invoices and allocation to cost centres
* Analysis and preparation of employee expenses
* Compilation of monthly KPI's to enable decision making
* Preparation and posting of journals at month end including accruals and prepayments
* Preparation and submission of VAT returns
* Stock reconciliations and assisting in stock control and reporting
Required Criteria:
* Possess previous experience of the key duties and responsibilities
* Possess excellent general IT skills including advanced level experience of Microsoft Excel
* Have previous experience of using accounts packages
* Be self-motivated and enthusiastic
* Have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate and liaise well with staff at all levels across the business
* Have the ability to pay attention to detail and solve problems efficiently
* Have strong organisational and prioritisation skills and an ability to structure workload efficiently
