PLM Implementation Consultant Vacancy - South Manchester We are currently supporting our client in their search for a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Implementation Consultant. This role will be instrumental in assisting clients with the configuration and implementation of PLM systems to meet their unique business needs. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand requirements, translate them into system configurations, and ensure seamless execution. This role requires strong organisational skills, confidence, effective communication, and project management capabilities. Occasional travel may be required. Key Responsibilities include: Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to assess their PLM needs and business objectives Conduct detailed evaluations to identify specific PLM system configuration requirements Develop and implement PLM strategies tailored to client needs PLM Configuration: Customise and configure PLM software to align with client requirements Manage full-cycle implementation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets Work with cross-functional teams to integrate PLM solutions into existing workflows Communication and Training: Conduct training sessions for clients and end-users on PLM system functionalities Develop clear and concise user documentation to support independent system use Project Management: Oversee project timelines, tasks, and resource allocation Communicate project progress, risks, and solutions to clients and internal teams Ensure timely project completion within budget constraints Requirements: Strong background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or experience with implementing large-scale, database-driven enterprise solutions such as PDM, MRP, or ERP Prior PLM experience is not essential, as training will be provided, but experience in implementing enterprise-wide systems is crucial Excellent organisational and project management skills, with familiarity in project management methodologies and tools Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements Location: This hybrid role is ideal for candidates based in South Manchester, though applicants from anywhere in the UK are encouraged to apply.
