General Role Description Responsible for overseeing and managing engineering, procurement, and construction activities for various projects. Your primary goal will be to ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with TMEIC quality standards and client requirements. You will collaborate with different teams and stakeholders to coordinate project activities and ensure smooth project execution. Role Accountabilities: Project Planning and Management Develop project construction plans, schedules, and budgets in coordination with sub-contractors for Balance of Plant (BoP). Monitor project construction progress and ensure adherence to timelines and milestones. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to address them. Manage selection of sub-contractor for BoP, negotiation, and contract management. Engineering Review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements. Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams. Coordinate with design consultants and vendors to resolve technical issues. Construction Management Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. Coordinate with subcontractors, and construction teams to resolve issues and conflicts. Conduct site inspections and quality audits to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance Implement and enforce safety protocols based on Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all project personnel. Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and implement measures to minimize environmental impact. Investigate incidents and accidents and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Stakeholder Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Provide regular updates on project construction status, milestones, and issues to stakeholders. Address stakeholder concerns and maintain positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) and/or relevant professional certifications. Proven experience in project management, preferably in the EPC industry. Experience in site construction of Photovoltaics (PV), Wind, Substations, or other electrical systems with a voltage level of 33kV and DC voltage up to 1500 Vdc. Experience in managing site construction with sub-contractor or related contractor. Experience in preparing Construction Phase Plan documentation. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of risk management and management defined by HSE. Ability to read and understand electrical system drawings and documents and understand construction drawings. Determine potential risks, develop mitigation plans and advise management. Demonstrated knowledge in Construction Design Management (CDM) and other safety requirements. Demonstrated ability to provide site management an understanding of health and safety requirements at site. Demonstrated ability to prepare schedules and manage site construction schedule. Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with Customers, Colleagues and Suppliers. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and construction practices. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic project environments. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure. Proficiency in IT tools, including project management software and Microsoft Office suite. Ability to plan haulage routes for deliveries to the project site. Preferred Qualifications Master s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). Familiarity with relevant local regulations and codes related to energy storage projects. Knowledge of grid interconnection requirements and processes. Familiarity with health and safety standards specific to energy storage projects. Ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively with subcontractors and project stakeholders. Project management skills, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline adherence. Experience in commissioning and testing of battery energy storage systems, Photovoltaics (PV) project system or any relevant industry system. Certification in relevant safety and project management standards would be advantageous. Good communication in internationally understanding the different cultures and way of thinking. Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
