Main Responsibilities As a Registration Officer, you will prepare and deliver ceremonies including marriage, civil partnerships, and non-statutory ceremonies at locations across the County including Approved Premises, Registration Offices, hospitals and hospices demonstrating professionalism and resilience. You will hold a statutory responsibility for the safe handling and correct completion of marriages and civil partnerships schedules, ensuring the highest professional service is delivered. You will maintain a working knowledge of relevant legislation, complying at all times with national standards, service standards and best practice. The Ideal Candidate We are seeking candidates with excellent communication and public speaking skills. You should have a keen eye for detail and be committed to maintaining high standards in registration practices and customer excellence. The work pattern is variable, with ceremonies in Staffordshire taking place over 7 days per week particularly during peak season.
