We’re looking for a motivated Customer Service Officer based in Kendal Town Hall.
The successful candidate will be joining a friendly multi-skilled Customer Service Team who are passionate about providing top level customer service and supporting delivery of the Council's statutory obligations. The team resolves a significant proportion of customer queries at the first point of contact, providing accurate advice and guidance on a wide range of topics including Revenue and Benefit enquiries, Waste enquiries, and Public Protection enquiries.
The role requires excellent communication skills to engage appropriately with a wide range of customers, both internally and externally. This is done via several channels such as face-to-face, telephone, and email.
Attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential in this role.
