Quality Manager Job Description Join our team and make a difference Lead the way in quality excellence at Grundfos Manufacturing As the Quality Manager at Grundfos Manufacturing in Sunderland, you will lead and enhance the performance of the Quality department. Your role will involve providing technical and process guidance, setting targets, and motivating the Quality team to achieve those targets. You will ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality system standards, and legal requirements whilst driving the Total Quality Management philosophy across all aspects of the business. Key Responsibilities: · Maintain our integrated management systems as per ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards. · Develop and manage Quality Assurance processes across the plant to meet or exceed relevant customer and Grundfos requirements. · Set targets, monitor and manage the Quality Team's objectives and performance. · Develop the Quality team including coaching and training, coordinating with HR. · Monitor & improve plant quality performance using Grundfos audit framework. · Continuously improve quality standards working with Group Quality and other plants. · Complete administrative tasks, including Quality reporting. · Advise on Quality equipment requirements and investments. · Represent Quality at the plant level in daily action meetings. · Manage stock within Quality function. · Conduct supplier audits and approve quality assurance systems. Also Responsible for: · Continuous improvement of safety within Quality. · Supporting cross functional improvement activities · Customer, Supplier and Group liaison and support. · Implementation of Grundfos Production System. What are we looking for? We are seeking a technically qualified quality professional, ideally with a degree, to lead our quality processes and team. The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of relevant work experience in a similar industry, demonstrating strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing quality initiatives.
