What You’ll Be Doing
As Deputy Manager, you’ll support the Service Manager and lead a dedicated team in delivering outstanding care. Your focus will be on:
* Leading by example and cultivating high-performing, motivated teams.
* Creating a positive, nurturing environment where people flourish.
* Supporting team leaders with supervisions, appraisals, and team development.
* Supporting services during times of change or crisis.
* Ensuring strong, respectful relationships between staff and the individuals we support.
* Overseeing team meetings and ensuring all staff are up to date with training.
* Supporting safe recruitment and onboarding processes.
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of care and support services.
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 2 years in a Deputy Manager or similar leadership role, supporting adults with complex needs.
* Experience working with autism, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and challenging behaviours.
* NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
* Strong knowledge of MCA, DoLS, safeguarding, and sector legislation.
* Resilient, calm under pressure, and driven by purpose.
* A values-based leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Must have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
