About the role: Digital Photography Tutor
Activate Learning is seeking passionate and skilled photographers to join our Learning for Leisure team at Reading College and across Berkshire. Whether you are an experienced tutor or an individual that can confidently deliver practical workshops, consider showcasing your skills by becoming a role model to a diverse group of learners from all ages, including adults and young learners who display a passion for creative arts.
We offer various short-term evening courses throughout the year at our well-established Reading College facilities, requiring tutors with strong digital photography knowledge and teaching ability.
We currently have an opportunity to teach on a two-hour evening weekly course, but welcome expansion of this provision.
Travel will be required in this role, as you will predominantly be working at Reading College, but opportunities may arise throughout our local community in Berkshire.

You will have extensive knowledge of the subject area and can engage and interact with students to ensure they are set up to succeed in their end goals. To find out more about the courses we offer, please visit the Activate Learning Adult Education website.
Your communication and interpersonal skills will be outstanding and support your ability to deliver interesting, fun, and purposeful lessons to adults. You'll need to have a flexible mindset to connect with the communities you're teaching. You will be joining an established and supportive team within our Learning for Leisure and Community Learning provision on a casual contract basis, and our positions offer a variety of flexible working patterns such as daytime, evenings, and weekends depending on the scheduled timetable.
