We currently have an opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager working from our Bristol office covering the South West area.
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial sales performance at a regional level through effective management of both field-based and office-based teams. It will be your responsibility to develop and implement an effective sales strategy for the region, aligning with the core strategy for Certas Energy. You will maintain and develop a well-trained, motivated team delivering exceptional customer service, maximizing profitability, and developing sustainable growth across the business.
Responsibilities include:
1. Manage and motivate the team to achieve results
2. Set targets and monitor performance
3. Effective people management – Increase engagement scores for the region; reduction in absence and attrition figures; increase flexibility of employees to meet customer demands
4. Support the team through training and development
5. Increase New Business and reduce churn for the sub-region
6. Implement Sales Strategy and translate it into local plans
7. Work with other departments to ensure resourcing is up to budgeted headcount before known busy periods – effective planning
8. Ensure compliance with internal policies
9. Actively promote reduction in LOB/Return to Stock by effective selling techniques
