About the role
Benefact Group is looking for a Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant to join our Gloucester office.
You will be responsible for advancing and maturing the adoption of the D365 platform, through engagement with business teams to understand development opportunities that help support company growth and efficiency. The role bridges engagement between architecture, product and engineering teams to help shape the enterprise platform roadmap and capability view.
Key responsibilities
* Develop and technically author appropriate solution designs, ensuring fit-for-purpose, balancing technical decisions with user needs and commercial constraints.
* Conduct discovery workshops to understand customer and business opportunities and requirements.
* Lead on proof of concept and innovation work where required, either independently, leading a team or with delivery partners.
* Technical author of functional requirements and implementation design.
* Act as an ambassador for the D365 platform across the group.
* Act as a technology and development practice coach and mentor.
Knowledge, skills and experience
* Deep functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, integrations for D365 Modules and the Power platform.
* Experience of working as a functional consultant or architect with the D365 platform, working closely with business stakeholders to support requirement elicitation.
* Experience of enterprise integration practices, data management, CI/CD, test automation and platform monitoring.
* Experience of technical authoring, developing and embedding coding standards, patterns and practices.
* Strong communicator with the ability to converse and translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant Associate certified or equivalent.
* Familiar with scaled agile delivery and CI/CD practices.
* Experience in general insurance or financial services is desirable but not essential.
